About Viper Cutting Edge Kits
Viper Cutting Edge enhances the durability and longevity of equipment by addressing scrape and safety issues that can lead to rust and rot. This is a product that not only tackles challenging snow conditions with ease but also offers safety to the operators and equipment.
Key Retrofit Benefits:
- Cleaner scrape
- Safer trips
- Stronger welds
The Viper Cutting Edge can be adapted to both old and new inverted snowblowers, and can also adapt all types of cutting edges (poly, steel, AR400, etc.). It is compatible with Normand, Pronovost, and others.
Safety, Strength, and a Cleaner Scrape
Viper Cutting Edge Kit is more than a cutting edge—it’s a structural upgrade. It is a field-tested trip system designed to protect your snowblower, your operator, and your bottom line.
When the cutting edge hits a fixed object—manhole covers, raised pavement, curbs—it trips on impact. Instead of transferring shock into your blower frame, welds, and gearbox, the system absorbs the force and resets.
But safety is only part of the story.
When we install a Viper Cutting Edge, we don’t just bolt it on. We inspect and correct common factory weld weaknesses and reinforce the lower structure of the blower. The result is not just safer performance—it’s a stronger machine.
What You Get:
- Trips on impact to prevent structural damage
- Reinforces common weld stress points
- Cleaner, more consistent scrape
- Reduced downtime and repair costs
- Retrofit compatible with Normand, Pronovost, and Bilodeau
